Council Commissioner’s Blog

Kline-2017Hello. I am glad you’re here. I have a lot to share with you so we can work together to make Scouting in Kansas City stronger.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Council Commissioner Blog. My name is Robert Kline. I became the Heart of America Council Commissioner in 2017.

I work with the Council Committee to ensure that its members understand the challenges facing our District Commissioners, District Committee Members and the Units they serve.

Commissioners are friends to the units. Unit success equals youth success. And at the end of each day, we always must as ourselves, have we done enough to make our youth successful?

This site is designed to help me communicate with our District Commissioners, Assistant District Commissioners and Unit Commissioners. The tools on this page will help Commissioners help their Units.

As a dedicated corps of commissioners we can accomplish anything we put our minds to. We do our best work for the units when: We are focused on the same objective; We are provided the tools and resources necessary to achieve our objective; We track our progress and make adjustments to achieve our objectives. I am proud to lead a group of volunteers who are focused, resource prepared and adjusting their tactics to make Scouting better in Kansas City.

I sincerely look forward to working with all of you.

Yours In Scouting and Service;
